Just across the road, there’s a yoga school where you can join classes and relax your muscles or de-stress.
The nearest beaches, Holywell Bay and Perranporth, are a quick five-minute drive (two miles) away. You can take a pleasant field walk to Holywell Bay, known for its Gull Rocks featured in Poldark. Newquay, with its surf schools and beach amenities, is just six miles in the other direction.
For a quieter experience, Holywell has only a seasonal shop and a pub. You have the whole north coast of Cornwall to explore, with Padstow, a food lover’s haven, 20 miles north, and artsy St Ives nearly 30 miles south.
Walk a mile along a peaceful country lane to reach the charming Smugglers Den Pub and Restaurant, a 16th-century thatched roof inn. It serves quality food all day with lovely valley views. Perranporth and Newquay offer more dining options, along with supermarkets and independent delis for self-catering enthusiasts.
